For as long as I can remember I wanted to be an Artist. I come from a family of makers, craftspeople, and artists. I studied sculpture and painting at Herron School of Art and Design; receiving my BFA in 2000 and then I attended Washington University in St. Louis studying sculpture and receiving my MFA in 2003. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be an Artist. I come from a family of makers, craftspeople, and artists. I studied sculpture and painting at Herron School of Art and Design; receiving my BFA in 2000 and then I attended Washington University in St. Louis studying sculpture and receiving my MFA in 2003. After my schooling I moved to the Seattle to prosue my career in Art and Arts Educatuion. My family and are now located in Fresno CA.

My Background
I use many different mediums, such as wood, acrylics, collage, watercolor, and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style rooted in process and improvisation.
